у статті проаналізовано основні професійні функції діяльності працівників державної кримінально-виконавчої служби та військових офіцерів України, які вимагають наявності професійно важливих якостей цих фахівців. На підставі науково-педагогічних досліджень визначено та обґрунтовано комплекс професійно важливих якостей майбутніх фахівців із правоохоронної діяльності пенітенціарної системи та майбутніх військових офіцерів, а саме: лідерські якості, відповідальність, критичне мислення, стресостійкість, вольові якості, професійний саморозвиток і адекватна самооцінка.
